RAMALLAH, Monday, November 2, 2020 (WAFA) – Four people have died of the novel coronavirus disease in Palestine in the last 24 hours, 749 new cases were recorded and 438 have recovered, today said Health Minister Mai Alkaila in her daily coronavirus report.
She said that all four deaths were in the West Bank, two of them in their 70s and two in their 90s, for a total of 0.8 percent since the outbreak of the disease in Palestine in March.
East Jerusalem recorded 34 new cases in the last 48 hours, the West Bank had 443 new cases and the Gaza Strip 272, a record high since the outbreak of the disease in Palestine. Total recoveries since March was 11.1 percent.
The recoveries included 42 in East Jerusalem, 290 in the West Bank, and 106 in the Gaza Strip, for a total of 88 percent since the outbreak.
Alkaila said 37 patients remain in intensive care units in hospitals, including eight who are on respirators.
