RAMALLAH, Monday, October 05, 2020 (WAFA) – Eleven people have died in Palestine after contracting the coronavirus disease, 491 new cases were recorded and 592 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, today said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila in her daily corona report.
She said that two of the deaths were in East Jerusalem, eight in the West Bank, and one in the Gaza Strip.
Of the new cases, 356 were in the West Bank, including 98 in Tulkarm and 87 in Hebron, 62 in East Jerusalem, and 73 in the Gaza Strip.
Most of the recoveries in the West Bank were in Hebron with 117 cases, then Nablus with 108 cases and 70 in Bethlehem, while 108 recovered in Jerusalem and 65 in the Gaza Strip.
Alkaila said 47 patients are considered critical in intensive care, including 11 who are on respirators.
