RAMALLAH, Sunday, October 4, 2020 (WAFA) – Palestine recorded today 420 new coronavirus cases and one fatality during the past 24 hours, according to the Minister of Health Mai al-Kaileh.
She said in the daily report on the COVID-19 pandemic that a 42-year-old man from the district of Hebron has died of the virus.
The newly-infected cases were distributed as follows: 86 cases in Hebron, 87 in Nablus, 30 in Bethlehem, eight in Qalqilia, 33 in Ramallah, 48 in Jenin, 33 in Tulkarm, 48 in Jenin, four in Tubas, 18 in Jericho, two in Salfit, and 15 in occupied Jerusalem. Meanwhile, 56 cases were registered in the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, 1256 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, said the report.
The Minister of Health said 51 coronavirus patients are currently placed under intensified care, 13 of whom are on respirators.
