RAMALLAH, Friday, August 21, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy to clear and mild in mountainous districts and relatively hot to hot in other districts with a slight drop in temperature which becomes seasonal, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly wind blows with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 20°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 28°C and a low of 19°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 39°C and a low of 27°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 24°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
No significant change in the weather is expected on Saturday.
Sunday’s temperature is set to slightly rise and approach 2°C above the seasonal average, paving the way to an increase in the heat stress.
An additional slight rise in temperature is expected on Monday, paving the way to relatively hot conditions in mountainous districts and hot to very hot conditions in other districts.
