Ramallah, August 17, 2009 (WAFA)- Fateh elected Uri Davis (67) for its Revolutionary Council’s membership, a Jewish Palestinian born in 1943, “before the racist state was established,” he said.
Davis, who calls himself an anti-Zionism Palestinian Jew, had joined the movement in 1984, with a nomination by Palestinian leader Abu Jihad, Kahlil Al-Wazeer.
He decided to run for Fateh’s Revolutionary Council’s elections to contribute to its external relations.
Davis, who had had very good relations with late Palestinian President, Yasser Arafat, said that after this conference, Fateh will be stronger and more capable of doing its role.”
