President Calls for Early Presidential & Legislative Elections
RAMALLAH, December 16, 2006 (WAFA)-President Mahmoud Abbas called on Saturday for early Presidential and Legislative elections.
In his speech broadcasted live on Palestine TV to the Palestinian people, President said that the people is the reference of the third legislations and has a right to say his ward.
"Do I need a government for entertainment? I need a government that can lift the siege," President said .
President also said let us go back to the people, who are the reference of ligistlations. " let us ask the people if they approve the National Documentation of the pure and respected prisoners."
Affirming on the holiness of the Palestinian cause, President said "our cause is sacred and we reject alliances and we should gain the support of the all, adding "our cause is difficult and complicated and we are in need for all."
