GAZA, Sunday, January 13, 2019 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man succumbed to serious wounds he sustained a few weeks ago after being shot by Israeli forces during the ‘Great March of Return’ border protests in the besieged Gaza Strip, said medical sources.
Anwar Qudaih, 33, died today from serious wounds he sustained a few weeks ago by Israeli forces’ fire as he took part in the ‘Great March of Return’ protests near the eastern borders of Khan Younis.
Qugaih was admitted into the European hospital in Khan Younis due to his critical wounds, where he underwent multiple surgeries.
The Great March of Return protests began on March 30 and are planned to continue until a 12-year long Israeli blockade on Gaza is lifted.
