RAMALLAH, July 29, 2018 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas on Sunday received Palestinian teenager Ahed Tamimi and her family at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah, after she and her mother were just freed from Israeli jails following eight months of imprisonment.
The President praised Ahed and described her as a model of the Palestinian struggle for freedom, independence and statehood.
He stressed that nonviolent resistance which Ahed embodies has proven to be an ideal and vital weapon in facing the repression of the Israeli occupation.
