Israel bans two Palestinian employees of Al-Aqsa Mosque from being there for two weeks

 

JERUSALEM, Monday, May 20, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities released late yesterday two employees of Al-Aqsa Mosque on condition of staying away from their work place at the Jerusalem-based Muslim holy compound for 15 days, according to sources at the Muslim Waqf department, which is in charge of the Mosque and Muslim holy places in the occupied city.

Israeli police yesterday detained the two identified as Samir Alyaman and Saed Salaymeh and who work as guards at the Mosque.

Police had also seized dozens of food packages that were supposed to be distributed to the needy Palestinian families in Jerusalem’s Old City as part of  charitable donations during the holy fast month of Ramadan.
