RAMALLAH, Wednesday, June 17, 2020 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained today over a dozen Palestinians, including 11 from occupied East Jerusalem, said the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS).
It said the 11 from Jerusalem included Eman Aawar, mother of a prisoner in Israel, and her son, Jibril, who was later set free, from the Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan, along with a 14-year-old and another 17-year old minors, and several other young Palestinians from various neighborhoods in the city.
One, identified as a resident of the Jerusalem neighborhood of al-Tur, was detained at Bab al-Majles, one of the gates leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem’s old city, and another, identified as a teenager, was abducted by undercover Israeli forces in Issawiya neighborhood.
Meanwhile, Israeli military stormed Dura town, south of Hebron in the south of the West Bank, where soldiers detained two 16-year-old teenagers.
