RAMALLAH, Thursday, September 19, 2019 (WAFA) – In a large-scale search-and-arrest campaign, Israeli forces detained early this morning 22 Palestinians in various areas of the occupied West Bank, including three 14-year-old minors, according to the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS).
It said soldiers raided the town of Abu Dis, east of Jerusalem, and detained three 14-year-old minors after raiding their family homes.
It said the Israeli army also detained six Palestinians in the northern West Bank city of Jenin and its refugee camp after raiding and searching their homes.
In addition, five were detained from the Ramallah-area village of Kufr Nimeh, three of them 18 years of age, following raids at their family homes. Four others, two of them 18 years old, were detained following raids at their homes in the district of Qalqilya, and three others detained at Balata refugee camp in Nablus where residents clashed with the soldiers following their raid of the camp.
One Palestinian was detained in Beit Dokko, northwest of Jerusalem, said the PPS.
