HEBRON, January 25, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli forces shot and injured on Thursday a Palestinian teenager during clashes at the village of Beit Einun, northeast of Hebron in the southern West Bank, according to Palestinian security sources.
Israeli forces reportedly installed metal gates at the entrances of Beit Einun and Sair villages on Wednesday evening to curtail movement of cars in and out, triggering clashes with the local residents.
Youths protesting the closure hurled stones at Israeli troops who responded with tear gas canisters and gunfire injuring a 16-year-old youth in the leg before detaining him.
