Israeli snipers shoot Palestinian in southern Gaza Strip

GAZA, June 2, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli snipers Saturday morning shot and injured a Palestinian to the east of Khan Younis city in the southern besieged Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent reported medics at the European Hospital saying that Israeli soldiers stationed to the east of Khaza‘a town, east of Khan Younis, opened live fire at a Palestinian as he approached the border fence, injuring him in the abdomen.

He was rushed to the hospital, where his condition was reported stable.

This came a day after Israeli forces killed a Palestinian female paramedic and injured over 100 protestors, including 40 with live and expanding bullets, as they continued to attack the Great March of Return protests along the eastern border of Gaza.

Razan Al-Najjar, 21, a volunteering paramedic, was shot in the chest and killed by Israeli snipers while she was providing first aid to the wounded at the fortified border fence east of Khan Younes city.
