UPDATE: Israeli forces kill two Palestinians, injure 310 at Gaza border

GAZA, June 29, 2018 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians were killed and at least 310 others were injured, three of them seriously, on Friday after they were shot by live ammunition by Israeli soldiers who continued to attack the ongoing Great March of Return protests at Gaza’s eastern border.

Mohammad Fawzi Hamaydeh, 24, was shot dead by Israeli soldiers who attacked the protesters to the east of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Prior to him, a 13-year-old boy, who was not yet identified, was killed when the forces opened fire towards the protesters east of Khan Younes, in southern Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent said Israeli soldiers opened gunfire at the protesters who gathered at many locations along Gaza-Israel border and injured 310 of them. The soldiers also fired teargas canisters towards the protesters, causing many cases of suffocation from teargas inhalation.

Israeli soldiers also fired a teargas canister into an ambulance near the protests east of Gaza City, causing suffocation to medics who were inside it.

More than 134 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza since March 30, the start of the Great March of Return protests. Over 14,000 others were injured, many of them from live ammunition and several are still in critical condition.
