Palestinian shot by Israeli gunfire succumbs to wounds in Gaza

GAZA, June 28, 2018 (WAFA) – A Palestinian teen Thursday succumbed to his wounds he sustained several hours earlier when Israeli artillery shelled two Palestinians to the east of Rafah city in the southern besieged Gaza Strip, said WAFA correspondent.

Mustafa Abu Azzum, 17, succumbed to the wounds he sustained when he was hit with an Israeli artillery shell earlier in the day to the east of Rafah.

Abu Azzum was pronounced dead in Abu Yousef al-Najjar Hospital in Rafah, where medics had described his injuries as critical as a result of being hit with the fragments of the artillery shell in the head.

Two Palestinians, including Abu Azzum, came under fire when they reportedly approached the border fence with Israel.

The other Palestinian, who remained unidentified, reportedly received moderate to serious injuries.
