RAMALLAH, June 21, 2018 (WAFA) – Azzam al-Ahmad, member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Thursday said it will convene in Ramallah to discuss the Palestinian National Council’s recent resolutions and the overall political developments.
He told Voice of Palestine radio that the Committee will also discuss the “challenges and conspiracies” facing the Palestinians, most notably US and Israeli recent discussions, advertized as the humanitarian solution for Gaza and aiming to find a solution to the crisis in the besieged strip.
Al-Ahmad said the “humanitarian solution for Gaza” comes at the expense of the two-state solution and the resolutions of the international community.
He made a reference to the “deal of the century” of the US administration, saying it is now “gone” thanks to the efforts of the Palestinian leadership.
Meanwhile, al-Ahmad said that a committee recently formed by the Palestinian leadership to end the division will complete its work in a few days and submit its final report to the Executive Committee.
