Paramedic, journalist among injuries at Gaza border

 

KHAN YOUNES, April 20, 2018 (WAFA) – A paramedic and a journalist were among seven Palestinians who were shot and injured by Israeli forces on Friday as the forces attacked the ongoing non-violent protests at the eastern border of the Gaza Strip on Friday, according to local sources.

Israeli forces attacked the rallies at the border to the east of Khan Younes, in southern Gaza Strip, injuring five Palestinians, including a paramedic and a journalist.

Two other protesters were also shot and injured when the forces opened gunfire at the rallies of the Great March of Return to the east of Rafah city, in the farthest south of the Strip.

Earlier, a Palestinian protester was killed and others injured when Israeli forces opened gunfire at non-violent protesters participating in the Great March of Return protests to the east of Jabalia town in the northern Gaza Strip.
