RAMALLAH, April 18, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Wednesday is mostly clear, sunny, dry and relatively warm in mountainous areas and warm in the Jordan Valley, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Temperatures are expected to rise and approach nine degrees Celsius (°C) above the seasonal average. Wind is southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, active at times. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem is set to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 20°C and in Ramallah a high of 29°C and a low of 19°C. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, temperature is set to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 24°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 20°C in Gaza.
PMD predicts weather on Thursday to be mainly sunny, warm and clear in daytime and relatively cold in nighttime. Temperatures are set to drop and approach seven °C above the seasonal average.
Friday’s weather is partially cloudy and pleasant in mountainous areas and relatively warm in the Jordan Valley in the daytime and relatively cold in the nighttime. Temperatures are set to further drop and approach four °C above the seasonal average.
Saturday’s weather in daytime is partially cloudy and mild for mountainous areas and relatively hot for the Jordan Valley. Temperatures are set to further drop and approach two °C above the average with increasing cloudiness and periods of showers after midnight.
