RAMALLAH, April 12, 2018 (WAFA) - The overall consumer price index (CPI) for Palestine during March slightly decreased by 0.12% compared with February, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said on Thursday.
The decrease was by 0.51% in Gaza Strip and by 0.09% in West Bank and Jerusalem.
The Palestinian CPI, during March, decreased by 2.11% compared with March 2017, a decrease by 1.89% in the West Bank, and by 3.13% in Gaza Strip, while it increased by 0.17% in Jerusalem.
The changes in Palestinian CPI for March are traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:
