Weather: Temperature below average

 

RAMALLAH, April 9, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Monday is partially cloudy with another drop in temperature becoming three degrees Celsius below its annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Weather at night is partially cloudy and cold, especially in mountains. A chance of scattered rain showers is expected in the northern parts.

Wind is northwesterly, moderate to active and sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature is expected to reach a high in the upper teens in the central West Bank areas and in the upper 20s in the Jordan Valley, while it drops to the low to the mid-teens at night in most areas.

PMD also predicted weather on Tuesday to be partially cloudy to cloudy. Scattered rain showers, along with thunderstorms at times, are expected to fall on most areas. Temperature is expected to drop approaching five degrees Celsius lower than its annual average.

Wednesday’s weather is partially cloudy to clear. Temperature is expected to significantly rise to become around its annual average.

Weather on Thursday is partially cloudy to clear. Another rise in temperature is expected approaching three degrees Celsius above the annual average.
