Health Minister confirms 102 coronavirus cases in West Bank

 

RAMALLAH, Thursday, July 2, 2020 (WAFA) – Minister of Health, Mai al-Kaileh, confirmed today evening 102 new coronavirus cases in the West Bank, raising the total cases registered today to 322, and the total since the outbreak of the pandemic in March to 3417.

She said 82 of the new cases were in Hebron governorate, south of the West Bank, 10 in Nablus, seven in Bethlehem, two in Qalqilia, and one in Jerusalem governorate.

Al-Kaileh said 11 out of the 2772 active cases are currently in a critical health condition and were placed in the ICU, of whom three are connected to respirators due to having a breathing difficulty.

She pointed out that the number of recoveries stood at 634, while the number of deaths stood at 11.
