HEBRON, Thursday, August 08, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities today gave out notices of demolition against four residential houses and an industrial structure in the town of Beit Awwa, in the south of the occupied West Bank under the pretext they were built without a permit.
Abdul-Kareem Masalmeh, mayor of Beit Awwa, told WAFA that Israeli forces raided the town and handed a number of residents notices of demolitions for four inhabited houses and an industrial structure.
He said that these structures are all included in the town’s zoned area and therefore they are outside Israeli jurisdiction and the no-building permit used an excuse to demolish them does apply to them.
He urged international organizations to interfere and put a stop to these Israeli measures.
