RAFAH, Sunday, June 16, 2019 (WAFA) – Several Palestinian citizens sustained suffocation today after Israeli forces, stationed along the border fence with the Gaza Strip, fired teargas canisters at homes to the east of Rafah city in the south of the Gaza Strip, witnesses and medical sources said.

Five civilians, including children, were admitted to Abu Yousef al-Najjar hospital in Rafah after they were teargassed by the Israeli forces while they were in their homes.

Israeli forces frequently shoot at farmers and civilians inside the Gaza Strip if they approach large swathes of land near the border, which the Israeli military has deemed as no-go zones to Palestinians.
