HEBRON, February 5, 2018 (WAFA) - Israeli forces assaulted on Sunday a Palestinian family in the southern West Bank city of Hebron during an attempt to detain its son, according to Abdul Raouf al-Muhtaseb, the assaulted member of the family.
He told WAFA that soldiers at the entrance to the Ibrahimi mosque in the old town of Hebron, attempted to arrest his son Mohammad, 27, and when he and his wife, Nadia, intervened on their son’s behalf, they were assaulted by the Israeli soldiers.
He said his wife was hurt in the incident and was admitted to Hebron hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, clashes erupted between Israeli soldiers and Palestinians around Tariq Bin Ziad school, also in the old town of Hebron, near a military checkpoint.
Soldiers fired stun grenades and rubber-coated metal bullets at the Palestinians, according to local sources.
