TULKARM, August 20, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Sunday detained the brother of the slain Palestinian teen who was shot dead at an Israeli military checkpoint near Nablus for allegedly attempting to stab Israeli soldiers, according to local witnesses.

Tareq Ziad Zahran, 25, brother of Qutayba Zahran, was detained after Israeli forces raided and ransacked the family home in the village of Illar, in Tulkarm governorate.

Qutayba Zahran, 17, was shot dead at the Israeli military checkpoint of Zataara after the teen allegedly tried to carry out a stabbing targeting the soldiers stationed at the checkpoint.
