RAMALLAH, Saturday, April 4, 2020 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas received today a telephone call from Ziad Nakhaleh, head of the Islamic Jihad movement.
Nakhaleh checked from the president on the situation of the Palestinian people in light of the coronavirus outbreak, applauding the precautionary measures taken by the Palestinian leadership to protect the people and prevent the outbreak of the virus.
They also exchanged views on the general issues of interest to the Palestinian people.
President Abbas also expressed readiness to provide assistance in the treatment of the former head of the Islamic Jihad Ramadan Shallah.
