HEBRON, Saturday, May 9, 2020 (WAFA) – Israel soldiers apparently not happy with the sight of a Palestinian flag attacked a post set up by local volunteers to check people for coronavirus in the village of Khillet al-Mayeh, in Masafer Yatta in the south of the West Bank, according to local activist.
Activist Rateb Jabour, from the Anti-Wall, Anti-Settlements Popular Committee in Yatta, told WAFA that the soldiers attacked the post in an attempt to remove a Palestinian flag raised at the post.
The volunteers confronted the soldiers and prevented them from interfering in their work or removing the flag, he said.
