HEBRON, Monday, February 3, 2020 (WAFA0 – Two young Palestinians were injured today by rubber-coated metal bullets fired by Israeli soldiers, one in the eye, during confrontations in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, according to the Ministry of Health and WAFA correspondent.

The ministry said a young man was shot in the eye by a rubber bullet and was taken to Hebron hospital for treatment. It did not give an immediate report on his case but said he was undergoing tests and his situation is being evaluated.

WAFA correspondent said Palestinians clashed with Israeli soldiers at Bab al-Zawiyeh area in the center of Hebron, where the Israeli-controlled H2 section of the city meets the Palestinian-administered H1 area.

He said that in addition to the one hit in the eye, another Palestinian was injured from a rubber bullet and taken to Hebron hospital.
