Israel Detains 14 Palestinians in West Bank, Jerusalem

RAMALLAH, December 27, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli army forces on Sunday detained at least 14 Palestinians, mainly during predawn and night raids across the West Bank, according to the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS).

In Hebron district, Israeli forces detained seven Palestinians, including an unidentified  young woman. The other detainees were identified as Sami Maswadi, 30, Belal Abu-Maria, 27, Sulaiman Sa’da, 16, Essam Sa’da, 14, Yahia Abu-Yousef, 16, and Diaa Edrees.

Meanwhile in Ramallah district, Israeli army broke into the village of Kafr Ne’meh and detained two Palestinians, identified as Ismail Ismail, 20, and Inrahim Nasser, 20.

Army also detained Mohammad Fakhouri in Tulkarm district; Mohammad Harb in Salfit; and Mohammad Ebdah from Askar Refugee Camp in Nablus.

A teenager was also detained near Qalqilia, allegedly for the possession of a knife. She was identified as Kereman Swedan, 15.

In Jerusalem, Israeli police detained at least one Palestinian, who was identified as Saeed Qumbuz, 26. To be noted, 47 Palestinians have been detained by the army during the past three days alone.
