ROME, Saturday, November 24, 2018 (WAFA) – Foreign Minister Riyad Malki met in Rome on Saturday with his Japanese counterpart, Taro Kono, on the sideline of the Mediterranean Dialogues – Rome-MED.

The two officials discussed bilateral relations and strengthening friendship between their countries.

Malki briefed Kono on the latest political developments in Palestine and thanked Japan for its financial aid of the Palestinian economy contributing to job creation in the country.

Kono said his country is committed to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state and the realization of the Palestinian inalienable rights.
