TULKARM, Monday, May 18, 2020 (WAFA) – Israeli soldiers and settlers today joined forces in destroying 15 dunums of land planted with olive trees in an area located between the villages of Kaffa and Shoufa, southeast of the northern West Bank city of Tulkarm, according to local activist Tahsin Hamed.
He told WAFA that the army and settlers used 10 bulldozers to destroy the land and uproot the trees and all crops planted there owned by Palestinians who live the village of Kaffa.
He said the land is located near the illegal settlement of Avni Hefetz, built on expropriated Palestinian land.
Hamed said the army has blocked off all roads leading to this land more than one month ago to prevent its owners from reaching it and as a prelude to taking it over.
