GAZA, Friday, December 14, 2018 (WAFA) – At least 48 Palestinians, including a journalist and medic, were injured by live bullets or rubber-coated rounds on Friday as Israeli forces attacked hundreds of protesters at Gaza-Israel border, according to the Ministry of Health.
The forces fired live bullets and rubber-coated steel rounds at the protesters who gathered at many encampments along the border, injuring 46 protesters by live bullets or rubber-coated rounds.
Some of the wounded were moved to hospital and others were treated in the field hospitals.
More than 205 Palestinians have been killed and over 22,500 others injured by Israeli forces since the outbreak of the Great March of Return protests at Gaza border on March 30.
The protests at Gaza border today coincided with similar other protests across the occupied West Bank in the aftermath of Israel‘s killing of three Palestinians and the ensuing fatal shooting of three Israeli soldiers in the West Bank yesterday.
