RAMALLAH, Monday, March 16, 2020 (WAFA) – Israel freed today two Palestinian men from inside the green line after serving their 17-year prison sentence, according to the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS).
The two men, Mohammad Abdul Hamid, 39, and Mahmoud Abdul Halim, 39, are from the Arab town of Kufr Manda in northern Israel. They were arrested in 2003 and each sentenced to 17 years in prison for resisting the Israeli occupation.
Family and friends gave the two a warm welcome when they left the prison and after arriving home.
