GAZA, Saturday, May 04, 2019 (WAFA) – At least one Palestinian was killed today and over 14 others injured, including two children, in a series of Israeli aerial and artillery strikes on the Gaza Strip, reported the Ministry of Health.

Imad Mohammad Nasir, 22, was killed in the shelling and 14 others were injured bringing the total killed since yesterday to five.

Israeli warplanes and tanks stationed on the Israeli border with Gaza fired several missiles and shells at multiple locations in the north, center and south of the Gaza Strip today causing injuries and damage to property. T

Two of the injured were children, whose home in Beit Lahiya town, north of the Strip, was hit by missiles.

Meanwhile, Palestinian resistance factions in Gaza fired dozens of homemade rockets, estimated at 100, at southern Israeli towns in apparent retaliation for yesterday’s Israeli killing of Palestinians in Gaza.

Sirens were heard throughout the southern part of Israel and as far as the coastal city of Asqalan as the Israeli Iron Dome intercepted the rockets fired from Gaza.
