RAMALLAH, Thursday, December 05, 2019 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Foreign Ministry stated today that it was following up on the case of a Palestinian from Gaza who was found dead in his apartment in the Republic of Moldova.

The Ministry said in a press release that in cooperation with the Palestinian Embassy to Moldova and the competent Moldovan authorities, it was looking into the case of Ihab al-Hasheem, an ambulance doctor who was found dead in his apartment in Moldova.

The statement added that the ministry was coordinating with the relatives of the deceased to receive his body and lay him to his rest.

Al-Hasheem family lost contact with Ihab for several days, which prompted them to inform the Palestinian embassy to Moldova about the issue.
