UPDATE: Israeli Forces Detain Eight Palestinians in Hebron, Tulkarm

HEBRON, August 23, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces overnight Monday detained at least eight Palestinians during raids across the West Bank districts, according to local and security sources.

In Qalqilia district, northwest of the West Bank, Israeli army broke into the town of Azzoun and detained three Palestinians, identified as Bahaa Shebetah, 24, Baraa Abu Hniya, 18, and Ehab Hussein.

In Ramallah area, forces stormed the village of Al-Mazraa Esharqia, where they detained Basem Dar-Saad, 20, and Mustafa Elayyan, 22.

In Hebron district, army stormed the towns of Dahiriya and Dora, where they detained two local Palestinians after raiding and searching their family homes. The detainees were identified as Bassam Tall and Salim Rajoub.

Army also broke into Hebron city, where they raided several commercial stores and sabotaged with some of their content. There were no reports of arrests.

Meanwhile, Israeli troops stormed the village of Qaffin, north of Tulkarm, and detained a Palestinian resident after raiding his home. He was identified as Mujahed Khatib.
