Israeli army prevents Palestinian farmer from harvesting his land

NABLUS, Tuesday, September 03, 2019 (WAFA) - The Israeli army prevented today a Palestinian farmer from the village of Qaryout, southeast of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, from accessing his land located near the illegal Jewish settlements of Ish Codesh and Kida to harvest and pick the almond trees in their land, according to the farmer.

Adham Mousa told WAFA Israeli forces and guards of the two settlements broke into the land owned by his family in Qaryout and held them and  his family members for few hours before releasing them despite the fact that they had coordinated with the Israeli military and had a permit to reach and harvest their land on that day.

He pointed out that they have over 200 dunums of land  planted with  almond and olive  trees but his family was allowed to reach it only one day since the start of this year to plow it.

The family was barred from entering its land for nearly 17 years until it got an Israeli court order three years ago proving its ownership of the land.
