RAMALLAH, Monday, March 25, 2019 (WAFA) – A number of Palestinians suffocated during clashes broke out on Monday evening between Israeli forces and Palestinians at the northern entrance to al-Bireh city in Ramallah, said local sources.

Israeli forces fired rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas canisters towards dozens of Palestinians who took to the streets of Ramallah in support of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails and in condemnation of the Israeli Prison Service (IPS) oppressive measures against prisoners in Negev desert prison, in southern Israel.

Several of Palestinians suffered from suffocation due to tear gas inhalation.
