RAMALLAH, March 24, 2016 (WAFA) – At least 23 Palestinians, including a minor girl, were Thursday detained by Israeli forces, mostly during predawn raids across the West Bank, according to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS).
PPS said Israeli forces stormed the village of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, and detained 14-year-old Salwa Hayyan.
In Jerusalem, Israeli police detained seven Palestinians in Jerusalem. They were identified as Essa Abdul-Quddus, Omar Abu Ishaq, Sufian Natsheh, Khalil Abbasi, 59, Abdul-Aziz Abbasi, 57, Fadi Ja’ba, and Hanadi Helwani.
Meanwhile in Ramallah district, Israeli forces broke into Silwad village and al-Jalazoun refugee camp, where they detained Musab Hammad, Waleed Hammad, Ameer Ramahi, and Mohammad Ramahi.
In the northern West Bank, city of Nablus, forces broke into the city and detained Osama Fadel, Ayham Dweikat, 16, and Ahmad Qanazei, 15.
Troops also detained Emad Khouli, 24, in Qalqilia district; Belal Rajab and Muslim Shtayyeh in Salfit; and Sufian Bahar, 44, in the Hebron town of Beit Ummar.
Also in Beit Ummar, troops handed notices to a number of Palestinians, summoning them to appear for interrogation before intelligence.
Earlier the day, Israeli forces detained three Palestinians in the town of Ya’bad, to the west of Jenin.
