JERUSALEM, June 3, 2018 (WAFA) - Staff from the Israeli nature and parks authority Sunday resumed digging work at Bab-al-Rahmeh cemetery, just outside Jerusalem’s Old City wall for the benefit of building a national park on parts of the cemetery’s land.
Israeli nature began to dig up graves and land in the cemetery almost 20 days ago, placing metal fences on parts of land it intendeds to cut off in preparation to take over an area of the ancient cemetery where centuries-old graves of Muslim leaders are found.
