JERUSALEM, Wednesday, April 17, 2019 (WAFA) – The Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem demolished today a Palestinian house in Beit Hanina neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem that has been inhabited for 11 years under the pretext it was built without a permit, according to local sources.
They said that owner of the house, Umran Masri, received a few days ago a demolition order against his home, but his attorney was able to get a one-month extension.
Nevertheless, the family was caught by surprise today when Israeli forces accompanied a bulldozer to its house and started to demolish it.
Seven people were displaced as a result.
