JERUSALEM, August 11, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli police Thursday detained four Palestinians during a raid that sparked clashes in the Jerusalem refugee camp of Shufaat, said WAFA correspondent.

Police raided Shufaat refugee camp, storming an apartment and several stores, and detaining four Palestinian youths.

Clashes erupted between troops and local youths who protested the raid and attempted to block troops’ passage.

Police indiscriminately fired stun grenades and rubber-coated steel bullets. No injuries were reported though.

This came several hours after eight Palestinians were detained during predawn raids across the West Bank.
