Prisoner’s Society says Israel detained 150 Palestinians since US move

 

RAMALLAH, December 10, 2017 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) Sunday said Israeli army forces and police detained a total of 150 Palestinians since US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

A press released published by PPS said the highest percentage of detentions occurred in Jerusalem with 40 people detained, including four women who were later released.

In Hebron, 30 Palestinians were detained, including a woman identified as Asma Wiredat, who was transferred to Hadasa hospital.

PPS said Israeli army detained 14 Palestinians from the West Bank, including six men from Jericho, two from Bethlehem and another two from Ramallah.
