JERUSALEM, Thursday, July 18, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli forces today detained nine Palestinians from Jerusalem and Hebron districts, raising the total number of detainees to 17.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center, a Silwan-based watchdog, confirmed that Israeli police detained eight Palestinian teens from the Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan.
The teens were detained during celebrations throughout the occupied Palestinian territories following the announcement of the official results of Palestine’s secondary school examination, known in Arabic as Injaz.
In Hebron district, security sources said that Israeli military vehicles raided Dura town, south of Hebron, where soldiers rounded up a Palestinian.
Earlier today, eight Palestinians were detained from other West Bank districts.
