President to cut short trip abroad as Israel continues aggression on Gaza

RAMALLAH, Tuesday, November 13, 2018 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas decided to cut short a trip abroad and to return home to follow up on the recent developments and the Israeli aggression on the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip, member of Fatah Central Committee Hussein al-Sheikh said on Tuesday.

He said President Abbas has been making intensive contacts on all levels to bring to a halt the Israeli onslaught on Gaza and to protect the Palestinian people.

This came as Health Minister Jawad Awwad announced on Tuesday the dispatching of emergency medical supplies to Gaza at the instructions of President Abbas and Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah.

The medical supplies would be dispatched from the Health Ministry’s warehouses in the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
