RAMALLAH, December 4, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained early Monday three Palestinian lawyers from Jerusalem, including Iyad Misk, head of the legal unit at the Detainees Affairs Commission, to the north of Jerusalem, according to the commission.
Misk was detained at his Kufr Aqab home, north of Jerusalem, and was taken to Petah Tekva interrogation center in central Israel, the Commission said. No reason was given for this detention.
In addition to Misk, Israeli forces also arrested two other Palestinian lawyers identified as Khaled Zabarqa and Firas Sabbah.
Israeli forces also reportedly arrested a total of 20 Palestinians during raids across the occupied West Bank districts and in East Jerusalem, including the three lawyers.
The detainees included a 14-year-old minor and three former prisoners from the Bethlehem district, according to the Palestinian Prisoner‘s Society.
