Family among 10 Palestinians detained from West Bank

BETHLEHEM, Thursday, June 13, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained in early morning raids today 10 Palestinians, including a family of three people, from various parts of the West Bank, said the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

Israeli forces detained a Palestinian man identified as Muhammad Mousa Zreineh along with his wife, Leila, and son Mousa, after raiding their home in Aida refugee camp, north of the biblical city of Bethlehem.

The arrest of the family members came three days after Israeli bulldozers demolished four animal barns and a residential room it owned in an area west of Bethlehem.

Israeli soldiers, at that time, opened fire at the Zreineh family who attempted to counter the demolition injuring Mousa with a rubber-coat bullet in the foot.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces conducted multiple raids across the southern West Bank district of Hebron resulting in the detention of six Palestinians, including a 16-year-old minor, said PPS.

Another Palestinian was rounded up from Salfit district.

Israeli forces regularly raid Palestinian houses across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians.
