Israeli forces level land east of Nablus for ‘unpermitted‘ infrastructure

NABLUS, June 12, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli bulldozers Monday leveled land privately owned by Palestinians in al-Furush area in Beit Dajan, east of Nablus, under the pretext of ‘unpermitted’ water connections, said a local official.

Aref Daraghmeh, who monitors Israeli settlement activities in the Jordan Valley, told WAFA Israeli forces continued for the second consecutive month to raze land in Beit Dajan area in search for ‘unauthorized’ water holes and pipelines.

The expert on Israeli settlement violations said this Israeli measure falls under the punitive measures practiced by Israel against Palestinian farmers, maintaining that this measure is an infringement of Palestinian property rights.
