RAMALLAH, November 1, 2017 (WAFA) – The number of Palestinians journalists detained in Israeli prisons is 27, a report by the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said on Wednesday.
The PPS said that among those are three journalists held in administrative detention without charge or trial.
Moreover, six journalists are sentenced to various terms and 18 are held in detention.
The report came after Israeli forces detained female journalist Boshra al-Tawil, from al-Bireh, on Wednesday.
The PPS pointed out that 25 journalists have been detained since the beginning of 2017.
