HEBRON, Sunday, January 26, 2020 (WAFA) – At least two minors were shot and injured with rubber-coated steel bullets during clashes with Israeli forces in the town of Beit Ummar to the north of Hebron, the occupied West Bank, said a local activist.
Mohammed Awad, a media activist, told WAFA Israeli forces stormed an area adjacent to the Israeli settlement of Kermi Tsur, built illegally on Palestinian lands to the south of Beit Ummar, provoking clashes with residents.
Forces fired rubber-coated steel bullets toward residents, shooting and injuring two minors, one of whom was shot in the upper chest which necessitated his transfer to hospital for treatment. His condition was described as moderate.
The other minor, aged 16, was shot in the foot and treated at the scene.
